Tennis at Eastbourne

Coverage of the Ladies' Tournament at Eastbourne on BBC Two starts today.

My buddies and I were lucky enough to go to Devonshire Park on semi-final day a couple of years ago.

Here we are cheering on Britain's Heather Watson.

We also got Martina Hingis' autograph. She and Flavia Pennetta had just won the Women's Doubles and were raising money for Rally for Bally.

A tasty drink to toast the Queen

Look what the clever people at Belvoir Fruit Farms have produced to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.

Elderflower Cordial is one of my favourite drinks. Will, Morris and I will enjoy drinking this while watching the tennis at Queens, Eastbourne and Wimbledon.

The Queen's 90th birthday celebrations

Wasn't the Patron's lunch parade in The Mall fantastic? I loved seeing all the different dancers and musicians, especially the "Thank you" message in the handbag at the end.

Paws up to all the people picnicking in the rain too.  I'm afraid my buddies and I stayed inside: we don't like getting wet.

Happy (Official) Birthday Your Majesty

Today is the Queen’s Official Birthday. (Did you know she has two birthdays every year? Isn’t she lucky?)

I had a great time celebrating her Diamond Jubilee so I’m really enjoying all the different events wishing her a very Happy 90th birthday this weekend. Paws crossed it stays sunny and warm for all the street parties taking place tomorrow.

Here I am at the lighting of the Jubilee commemorative beacon

I'm not the only patriotic teddy bear in my part of the world either. The picture below was taken at a Diamond Jubilee Street Party.

I'm back

Hello, I'm back.  Sorry I've been gone so long.

I'm now retired from Claremont School - I was getting a bit too well loved - so I've got more time to work on my blog.

I've got lots to tell you about since I last wrote and some new friends to introduce you to as well.

First I'd like you to meet Will the Monkey.  We met in America in 2004 and although he didn't come on the Big Adventure Will has joined me on quite a few other trips.

Here we are on a sunny day in Suffolk

You can find out more about Will from his blog, which is linked to this one.
